“Seen” Essie Collaboration Oversized Heavyweight Tee
Imagine what’s possible if we listen to the women, especially Black women, who hold us together as the system tries to tear us apart.
Our ‘Seen’ shirt spotlights the quarter of all women, and half of all Black women, in the United States who have an incarcerated loved one. The women who are the expert caregivers filling in the gaps where society fails. It also celebrates the inherent wisdom we can learn from Black feminism about liberation and care.
Made in partnership with Question Culture and Essie Justice Group, a Black feminist organization of women with incarcerated loved ones fighting to end the harm of policing and prisons. A portion of the proceeds of every sale is donated directly to fund Essie's work.
Also available as a golden rod cropped tee.
NOTE: Extra-oversized, roomy tee. No need to size up for a retro baggy fit. (4X fits standard unisex).
